 Dr. Grether specializes in “Mediation That Prevents Litigation & Preserves Relationships.”  His expertise as a Clinical Psychologist coupled with his training and experience as a Mediator provides a unique blend of knowledge and practical skills to achieve resolution of complex family issues.

Dr. Grether has successfully applied alternative dispute resolution to over 1000 cases involving divorce, divorce with children, post-divorce modification, elder family issues, elder abuse, estate planning, family business disputes, and marital agreements. 

As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Grether has advanced communication training and conflict resolution skills.  He has developed an eclectic approach to dispute resolution that includes interactive, facilitative, transformative, and evaluative mediation, principled negotiation, and conciliation.
